Sky mirror light and shadow show to open in Huaxi, Guiyang

A sky mirror grand show will open from Sept 25 to Oct 30 at the Shimen Flower Sea in Huaxi district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. Spanning both the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, the event will run daily from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, offering residents and visitors an immersive journey into light and shadow art.

Jointly organized by the Wanxiaxingsu Cliff Hotel and the Gaopo Shimen Flower Sea scenic area, the event's core attraction is a creative dual-mirror runway. This mirrored installation will blend natural landscapes with artistic lighting — reflecting terraced flower fields, blue skies, and white clouds by day, and urban neon lights and starry skies by night — creating a surreal visual spectacle where reality and illusion blur.

During the event, six themed light and shadow shows will be staged daily: a blooming flowers and cloud shadows show at 10:30 am, a terraced fields ink-wash show at 12:30 pm, a sunset light and shadow show at 4:30 pm, a sunset glow show at 6 pm, a mountain city neon show at 7:30 pm, and a starlight and lighting show at 8:30 pm.

Individual visitors can purchase a 39.9-yuan ($5.60) ticket, which includes entry to the Shimen Flower Sea, access to the dual-mirror runway, and all six daily themed shows, offering a high-value, lightweight experience.
