Guiyang sees Qingming Festival tourism surge

Guiyang welcomed over 400,000 overnight visitors during the Qingming Festival holiday from April 4 to 6, marking a 14.6 percent year-on-year increase, as 47 A-level tourist attractions received more than 900,000 visits, up 32.7 percent.

The top 10 most-visited attractions were: Qianlingshan Park, Huaxi Wetland Park, Qingyan Ancient Town, Huaguoyuan Tourism Area, Time Guizhou, Tianhetan Scenic Area, Hebin Park, Geological Museum of Guizhou, Yelang Valley Scenic Area, and Jiaxiu Pavilion.

Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area jointly launched around 100 events involving traditional culture, sports, parent-child study tours, rural leisure, district consumption, and folk experiences.
