Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, in collaboration with Ctrip, hosted the 2026 Guizhou Inbound Tourism Cooperation Conference and the 2026 Guizhou Inbound Tourism Supplier Conference in Guiyang on Jan 5-7. The conferences attracted over 1,500 representatives from the global tourism industry.
The conferences opened with a performance showcasing Guizhou's ethnic culture and rich regional heritage. The program included a culture and tourism promotion session, inviting overseas internet influencers and tourism representatives to demonstrate the province's stunning natural landscapes and profound cultural charm.
Guiyang presented its "Cool Guiyang" tourism campaign, while Qiannan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture showcased its "Qiannan Healing Journey" tourism product. The event highlighted the diversity and innovation of Guizhou's tourism offerings, shaping a new image of Guizhou as a welcoming, open, and high-quality destination.
The conferences also featured one industry forum and three thematic sessions. By building a professional global tourism cooperation platform, it helped Guizhou showcase its new tourism image to the world, facilitated precise alignment between tourism resources and international market demands, and promoted Guizhou's accelerated integration into the global tourism industry chain.
After the conferences, global travel agents conducted on-site visits to Guizhou's premium tourism routes, experiencing the province's natural and cultural charm, and mining the core value of its tourism products in person, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
