Guiyang Mass Art Museum's choruses achieve provincial honors

The 2025 Guizhou Province Choral Art Exchange Week was held at the Zunyi Grand Theatre from Oct 31 to Nov 5. At this high-level provincial art event, the Xingguang Chorus and the Xingguang Lingyin Women's Chorus, both from the Guiyang Mass Art Museum, distinguished themselves from among 43 outstanding groups by securing gold awards.

In the intensely competitive performance, the two choruses, relying on their exquisite vocal techniques, profound artistic expression, and synchronized teamwork, won high recognition from the judging committee and delivered a deeply moving audio-visual feast for the live audience.

The Xingguang Chorus won the gold award in the senior group (mixed choir), and the Xingguang Lingyin Women's Chorus won the gold award in the senior group (equal voice choir). Conductor Jiang Yin won the best conductor award, and pianist Zeng Shuo won the best piano accompanist award.

This achievement showcases the artistic standards of both choruses and reflects the high importance Guiyang Mass Art Museum attaches to the development of its in-house performing groups.

Moving forward, all choruses from Guiyang Mass Art Museum will take this as a new starting point to redouble their efforts, continue to deliver excellent performances, and achieve new successes in various activities.
