From Sept 14 to 17, a delegation from Laos' leading coffee brand Dao-Heuang Group visited Guiyang to strengthen full-chain cooperation in the coffee industry. The visit followed high-level exchanges between Guiyang and Pakse and marked the first Lao coffee enterprise delegation to visit Guiyang since the two cities became international friendship cities in September 2024.

During the four-day visit, the delegation toured Guiyang Agricultural Investment Group, Guiyang Foreign Trade Development Group, and several local coffee brands. Discussions focused on the green bean trade, the cross-sector development of coffee products, exchanges of brewing technology, and professional training.

A representative of the Guiyang Coffee Association noted that Guiyang will utilize its market strengths to deepen cooperation with Pakse across the coffee industrial chain. The two sides aim to develop premium international coffee and enhance global competitiveness.

The visit laid a solid foundation for future collaboration, with both cities looking forward to sharing their resources, achieving mutual benefits, and injecting new momentum into their sister-city partnership.
