During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area saw a year-on-year increase of 15.17 percent in tourist arrivals, 16.95 percent in total tourism expenditure, and 12.24 percent in overnight tourists.
During the holidays, 45 national A-level tourist attractions in Guiyang and Gui'an received a total of 3.16 million visits, a year-on-year increase of 19.51 percent. The top 10 attractions by tourist arrivals were Qianlingshan Park, Huaxi Wetland Park, Qingyan Ancient Town, Tianhetan scenic area, Colorful Guizhou City Tourism Complex, Hebin Park, Jiaxiu Pavilion, Guizhou Time Tourism Area, Guizhou Provincial Geological Museum, and Yalang Valley.
During the holiday, various scenic spots launched unique activities that combined sightseeing, cultural creativity, intangible cultural heritage, and the night economy. Taiping Road, Qingyun Market, Ayunduo Warehouse, and other cultural, tourism, and commercial districts created a festive atmosphere through markets, craft beer culture promotions, and extended reality experiences.
Rural cultural tourism also saw a peak, as various districts, county-level cities, and counties launched a series of events that combined agricultural experiences, natural art, and intangible cultural heritage.
The mushroom and grape picking activities in Wudang district, the art exhibition and rice wave music concert in Huaxi district, and the fun competitions in Qingzhen county-level city attracted a large number of tourists to the countryside, where they enjoyed the comfort of the holiday amid natural scenery and folk culture.
