Zhilu Market, an artisan fair and cultural feast, has kicked off at Zhucheng Square in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, and will be open daily from 3 pm to 10 pm.
The name "Zhilu" is derived from the "stopping in the present" philosophy, which advocates for the wisdom of knowing when to pause, allowing the mind to find tranquility while seeking like-minded companions in serenity.
At the market, visitors can knead clay into pottery or stitch delicate patterns into blue cloth. Guests can also learn tea arts from masters, observing as boiling water awakens the fragrance of the tea leaves, savoring the lingering sweetness of time in every sip. Alternatively, leaves and flowers can be arranged into floral art, bringing natural vitality to porcelain vases.
The market also features food stalls and cultural activities, offering visitors an immersive space that blends intangible heritage workshops, creative handicrafts, traditional cultural exchanges, and gourmet explorations.
