'Cool Guiyang' culture, tourism and trade promotion held in Thailand

The "Cool Guiyang" Culture, Tourism, Trade, and Real Estate Promotion Conference was held in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 20.

At the event, Hu Lin, director of Guiyang bureau of culture and tourism, highlighted the city's unique appeal through its "Six Cool" concept in health, culture, sightseeing, food, shopping and travel.

In his opening remarks, Xu Lan, counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, expressed hope for deeper culture and tourism cooperation between the two sides. The Tourism Authority of Thailand also said it looked forward to increased two-way travel and exchanges between Thailand and Guiyang.

During the event, Guizhou Guilyu International Travel Service Co signed a tourist exchange agreement with Thai travel companies and co-hosted a launch ceremony for the Guiyang China Travel Thai Marketing Center.

Guiyang representatives also promoted the city's "good houses" and invited attendees to escape the summer heat by vacationing in Guiyang. Cooperation agreements were also signed between the Guizhou Chamber of Commerce in Thailand and Guiyang Import and Export Enterprise Association, as well as between ANANTAMAT and Guizhou Tyre Co.
