Guiyang volunteers provide services for summer tourists

The launch ceremony for volunteers of Guiyang Tourism Development Group's "Cool Guiyang • Refreshing Journey" summer tourism initiative was held on July 10 at Guiyang's Qingyun Market.

Over 60 volunteers will be stationed at 13 key locations, including Qingyan Ancient Town, Tianhetan Scenic Area, Taoyuan River, Jiaxiu Pavilion, Qianlingshan Park, Guiyang Railway Station, Guiyangbei Railway Station, Longdongbao International Airport, and Dashizi Commercial District.

Until Aug 31, these volunteers will be deployed every Friday to Sunday during peak travel periods. At the 13 designated tourist sites, transport hubs, and commercial areas, they will provide tourist guidance, public transit assistance, scenic spot and culinary recommendations, cultural promotion, and emergency support.

Through these actions, volunteers will embody the spirit of service, ensuring every visitor experiences Guiyang's authentic hospitality. This initiative aims to enhance tourist satisfaction and elevate the city's reputation.
