Nearly 3,600 participants will showcase Guizhou's cultural diversity and unity by marching along Zhonghua Road and Zunyi Road for the Guizhou Ethnic Unity Grand Parade, which commences at 9:00 am on May 18 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Representatives from various ethnic groups, adorned in traditional attire, will join hands to perform the opening song Me and My Motherland. A dedicated 100-member formation will highlight the elegance of Chinese ceremonial costumes.

Along the 2.3-kilometer route, four interactive performance zones will feature regional specialties, such as Guiyang's roadside concerts, Zunyi's Miao dance, Liupanshui's Yi and Miao costumes, Anshun's 600-year-old Tunpu culture, Bijie's intangible cultural heritage, and Tongren's Nuo Opera.

The event will highlight Guizhou's culture and tourism innovations, including major scenic spots interacting with AI-powered mascots, a village fashion show, and performances of basketball and soccer.
