Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a culture and tourism promotion event in Hong Kong on April 23, attracting nearly 60 guests, including representatives from Hong Kong's tourism industry, business associations, and media.
Deng Ke, director of Guiyang's roadside concerts, introduced the city's iconic concerts and promoted the "travel with the melodies of Guizhou" route. These roadside concerts, held in Guiyang's squares, parks, and cultural heritage sites, have hosted over 340 sessions, attracting more than 3 million visits.
Multiple Hong Kong tourism representatives expressed their commitment to promoting Guiyang's unique offerings, such as summer retreats and ethnic cultural experiences, and attracting more Hong Kong people to visit Guizhou.
Hu Lin, director of Guiyang bureau of culture and tourism, presented the "2025 Guizhou Province Incentive Plan for Attracting Visitors to Guizhou". The plan includes 12 measures across four categories, such as specialized tourism incentives for air travel, high-speed rail, road trips, and culture-tourism promotion subsidies.
