Village in Xiuwen embraces spring splendor

With spring now here, Wugongqiao village in Xiuwen county, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is embracing splendid plum blossoms.

Wugongqiao village is home to 2,500 mu (166.67 hectares) of plum blossoms, which are now at their peak viewing period. The village is surrounded by hills and a clear stream runs through the valley, while plum blossoms grow on the surrounding hills and fields.

The splendid spring views attract people from cities to Wugongqiao every March. They are able to take photos, go hiking, enjoy flowers and paint in Wugongqiao.

Over the years, the village has leaned into its plum blossoms, using them to develop local tourism. It also holds plum-related activities in summer, when visitors can pick plum fruits, while other local characteristic agricultural products are popular as well.

In addition to the natural scenery, two cultural relics protection sites are located in Wugongqiao village, which enable visitors to fully immerse themselves in the local culture.
