A tourist group arrived in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on a high-speed railway train on Feb 22. It is this year's first Hong Kong tourist group to visit Guizhou.
The tourist group consists of 30 people, more than half of whom are above 60 years old. During their five-day stay in Guizhou, they will visit famous tourist spots such as Huangguoshu Waterfall, Wangfeng Forest, Maling River Canyon, and Longgong Scenic Area.
"It is my first time visiting Guizhou. I read about Guizhou's scenery online before, and decided to bring my family to have a look," according to one of the tourists, who looks forward to visiting Huangguoshu Waterfall and admiring the canola flowers at Wangfeng Forest.
Zhou Jian, the tourist guide, said that the travel agency has adjusted the accommodation and meals according to the habits of Hong Kong tourists, and adjusted the schedule to make sure every tourist will have a great time in Guizhou.
