A raft of international charter flights for tourists has been relaunched after three years of suspension from Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – according to several travel agencies there.
The direct charter flight from Guiyang to Phuket Island in Thailand will debut on March 14. It is expected that in the near future, the return to service of flights in the Asia-Pacific region will be faster than that of intercontinental flights.
Tourist routes to other countries were also launched. Travel agencies are discussing with the tourism departments of various countries the arrangements for them to receive the first groups of tourists.
Chen Rong, business manager of Guizhou China International Travel Service Co, said his agency currently has more than 80 overseas travel products – including group tours, semi-self-help tours and customized private tours.
