An intangible cultural heritage event was held in Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 5, which is this year's Lantern Festival.
The event was organized by the local government departments and the Huaxi National Urban Wetland Park Management Office.

Activities including art exhibitions, an intangible cultural heritage fair, lantern riddle guessing, and folk performances were held, while folk performances with Huaxi local characteristics such as dragon and lion dances, a lantern festival, and Bouyei ancient singing attracted many visitors.
The lantern riddle guessing was focused on the history, stories of historical figures, folk customs, and geography of Huaxi, allowing visitors to understand the local culture while having fun.

The event showcased the rich culture of Huaxi and promoted the development of Huaxi cultural tourism as well as local intangible cultural heritage.
