Guiyang stages fun tourism events for Dragon Boat Festival

During this year's Dragon Boat Festival holiday on June 3-5, Guizhou's provincial capital Guiyang received 555,550 visits to its 44 main scenic areas.

The big hit was Tianhetan Scenic Area which received more than 100,000 visits and ranked number one, followed by Huaxi Wetland Park, Qingyan Ancient Town, Qianlingshan Park, Quanhu Park and Guizhou Time Town, in that order.

To stimulate tourism spending, Guiyang launched a series of fun and exciting activities during the break, such as zongzi tasting, traditional cultural performances, garden parties, night markets and outdoor sports activities.
