Guiyang winter sports route added to national tourist list

The Guiyang Huaxi Ice and Snow Sports Tourism Route in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has reportedly been included in the list of 2022 Spring Festival Holiday Sports Tourism Boutique Routes.

The list was released by the General Administration of Sport and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The Guiyang route focuses on ice and snow sports tourism at the Gaopo Yunding Ski Field. The total length of the travel route is 50 kilometers, connecting tourist attractions including the Gaopo Yunding Ski Field, Tianhetan Scenic Area, Qingyan Ancient Town and Huaxi Wetland Park.

The Gaopo Yunding Ski Resort is located in Huaxi district, only 50 kilometers away from downtown Guiyang. It has two beginners' and intermediate ski runs, eight snow circle trails and a 3,000-square-meter snowmobile area.
