Guanshanhu releases winter tourism products

The Guanshanhu district of Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, kicked off a publicity campaign on Dec 15 for its winter tourism season.

Four featured tourist routes were released on the day:

Route 1: Lake sightseeing

Donglin Park – Guanshanhu Park – Karst Park – Niujiao slope – Baihua Lake scenic area – Jiulongshan Forest Park

Route 2: Sports activities

Xinshijie Saidian Sports Park – Guanshanhu Automobile Fairyland – Yueshan Lake Sports Complex – Guiyang Olympics Sports Center

Route 3: Parent-children trips

Guiyang Urban Planning Exhibition Hall – Guizhou Library – Guiyang Children's Library – Guizhou Provincial Museum – Geological Museum of Guizhou – Private plot farm

Route 4: Night market

Guiyang CC Park – Huizhan East Road – Hongjie Street – Cuiliu Road – Fuzhou Street

Various cultural and tourism activities and products were also released, to enable locals and tourists to discover the beauty of Guanshanhu.

1. Photo collection

Citizens and tourists can shoot their favorite Guanshanhu scenery and submit photos or videos to win prizes.

2. Photo exhibition

Guanshanhu will collect photos and videos and hold an on-site and online exhibition to showcase the district's economy, culture and daily life.

3. "Yes Guanshanhu" WeChat app

The app will provide the latest information on Guanshanhu's activities and cover other interesting news.

4. Guanshanhu 'punk' map

The map demonstrates Guanshanhu's scenic spots, landmark buildings and activities in a punk style, enabling residents and tourists to play small games to learn more about the district.

5. Shopping festival

Guanshanhu launched a shopping festival on Dec 9 to offer shopping coupons online and started various on-site shopping activities in shopping centers such as Joyful City and Wanda Plaza.

6. On-site sales activities

Guanshanhu's shopping centers, hotels, car product outlets and household items shops will offer discounts and coupons designed to boost consumer spending.

7. Indoor water sports

Guiyang Olympics Sports Park's water sports center has opened, to enable enthusiasts to enjoy water sports in the winter.
