The Jiaxiu Pavilion Culture and Tourism Consumption Gathering Area was recently included on the cultivation list of Guizhou provincial-level night-time tourism and culture consumption gathering areas.
The list was announced by the Guizhou Department of Culture and Tourism.
The Jiaxiu Pavilion Culture and Tourism Consumption Gathering Area is located in Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
It is an important part of the Nanming River Economic Belt project.
The Nanming River Economic Belt starts from Binhe Bridge in the west and ends at the office building of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee in the east. It has a total length of 7.5 kilometers and covers an area of about 730 mu (48.67 hectares).

Relying on Nanming River, the project will connect Jiaxiu Pavilion, Jiandao Street, and Xihu Alley, build special areas for food and night markets, and introduce leisure bars, tea culture exchanges, night bookstores, performing arts, culture and sports, and more.
It will also cooperate with surrounding scenic areas and business complexes such as the Jiaxiu Pavilion, Qianming Ancient Temple, Zhucheng Square, and Binhe Park to boost night-time consumption and sightseeing.
In addition, a series of measures will be introduced to support the construction of the Nanming River Economic Belt.
They will include adding lighting systems along the Nanming River and nearby buildings, extending the operating hours of culture, entertainment, tourism, shopping, and dining venues, and extending bus and subway service times.
