Guiyang launches 10 tourist routes for autumn, winter

Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – launched 10 new tourist routes for the autumn and winter seasons at the 12th Guiyang Tourism Industry Development Conference, which kicked off in the city's Wudang district on Sept 22.

Route 1: City sightseeing

Visitors can see wild macaque monkeys on Qianling Mountain, take in Diantai Street with its old-time charm and enjoy folk dancing.

Route 2: Ancient town scenery

Visitors can take photos at Huangjin Avenue, enjoy the natural scenery at Gaopo township and taste delicious food in Qingyan Ancient Town.

Route 3: Culture experience

Visitors can learn about Guizhou's historical changes at Jiaxiu Pavilion, Cuiwei Garden, Colorful  Guizhou Culture Creative Industry Zone and Colorful Guizhou City.

Route 4: Health care

Visitors can see Pianpo township, enjoy traditional Bouyei food and tour the Guiyang Third Line Construction Museum.

Route 5: Learning about science

Visitors can acquire some knowledge of science at the Geological Museum of Guizhou or experience some of the latest technologies at the Guizhou Big Data Exhibition Center.

Route 6: Family trip

Cloud Lake Holiday Resort, Homeland Guizhou, Guizhou Time Town, as well as Guizhou Polar Ocean World and hot springs are all ideal places for parents and children to have a happy family time.

Route 7: Study tour

Centered around Xiuwen county, visitors can learn about Yangming culture at Yiwo heritage park and China Yangming Culture Park, then take in Qiangui Liuguang Hot Spring and Zhazuo Wildlife Park and finally pick pears at Gubao town.

Route 8: Countryside tour

Visitors can escape the bustle of city life and experience China's history and its ancient villages, as well as enjoy autumn scenery in Guiyang's countryside.

Route 9: Folk culture experience

Shili Hualang Scenic Area in Kaiyang county and Yangchang Huahua town in Wudang district offer visitors great natural views and folk culture.

Route 10: China's history

Visitors can cherish the memories of revolutionary martyrs at the Xifeng Concentration Camp Revolutionary History Memorial Hall, take a bath at Xifeng hot spring and taste traditional Guiyang food on their way to the Nanshan Station Countryside Complex.
