Guiyang's cultural centers aim to improve their services

Ten delegations from municipal and county-level cultural centers in Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – gathered on April 13 to hold talks in the city's Guanshanhu district.

On the agenda for discussion were ways to innovate public cultural work, boost communications in all the districts' cultural centers and generally improve their levels of service.

On the day, various performances – including singing, dancing and recitations – were staged and won warm applause from the audience. An on-site photo celebrating the history of Communist Party of China also attracted great interest.

In addition, a meeting was convened to conduct further discussions on administering large cultural activities, major cultural work, the construction of venues and general operations.

Plans are for Guiyang to continue to develop its public cultural service system and to further organize the innovative development of its cultural centers.
